Our Staff
Our care workers are all meticulously trained to provide the highest standards of care to meet our strict quality requirements, including those laid down by the Care Standards Act

As well as practical help, our care workers offer clients companionship and advice. We believe that a happy and caring atmosphere is essential. To promote this we take great care in choosing responsible, conscientious and professional staff who are particularly able to gain the confidence of the service user. Our high standards are maintained with regular staff training.

The core team is qualified to NVQ 3 or equivalent. In addition we support local colleges who may place students with us for assessment under strict supervision.

To obtain shopping or organise for shopping to be done for the resident.
  • To be a companion to the resident – someone the resident feels he/she can talk to about any issue, confident in the knowledge that the discussion will not be repeated to anyone else unless that is what the service user wishes.
  • To voice residents concerns regarding issues connected with the running of the home, for example, a change in policy or practice which the resident was not happy with.
